Making movies often comes with unseen physical risks, and Malayalam cinema actor Deepak Parambol recently opened up about a harrowing near-death experience on set. While speaking about the making of his action drama, the actor recalled a dangerous stunt that went terribly wrong during the filming of 'Varavu'.
A Dangerous Stunt During the Shoot of 'Varavu'
According to reports from the Times of India, the incident took place while Deepak was actively filming a high-octane sequence. The actor was hanging from a moving jeep when the vehicle suddenly lost control and overturned while taking a sharp turn.
Reflecting on the terrifying moments, Deepak realized that he survived purely by luck, noting that quick instinct ultimately saved him from a much more severe fate. Given the violent nature of the vehicle flipping, the actor admitted that his head really should have hit the ground with devastating force.
Miraculous Escape and Minor Injuries
Despite the dramatic and frightening nature of the accident, the actor walked away with incredible fortune. He sustained only minor cuts on his knee and hand from the incident, avoiding any major medical emergencies.
The high-stakes action drama 'Varavu', directed by renowned filmmaker Shaji Kailas, officially made its way to audiences when it was released on July 16.
