Introduction
The highly anticipated promotional material for the upcoming reality competition series has generated significant controversy across digital platforms. Specifically, an intense verbal confrontation between prominent participants Mallika Sherawat and Rhea Chakraborty in the recently released trailer for The Traitors Season 2 has drawn heavy criticism from viewers.
As audiences examined the preview clips, online discussions quickly intensified regarding the nature of the remarks exchanged between the contestants. While some supporters expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming television release, many digital users condemned the tone and direction of the argument.
What Happened
The contentious moment unfolded when Rhea Chakraborty attempted to defend a fellow contestant after he made remarks concerning Mallika Sherawat and her career return. Rhea stated during the exchange that she did not find the initial comment particularly offensive.
In response, Mallika challenged why the contestant should comment on her career trajectory at all. Escalating the discussion, Mallika drew a direct comparison to Rhea's personal history, questioning her involvement and stating that she could similarly bring up Rhea's previous time spent in jail as a major comeback. Video footage from the preview shows Rhea appearing visibly upset by the sharp retort.
